Legalisation

Import and Legalisation: Changes in the Economic Scenario.

In recent years the legalisation and registration of imported vehicles is a reality present in many countries of Europe. This process is necessary and vital for many reasons.

In a not too distant past, many countries suffered from a radical economic policy of protectionism, which hindered in much or practically extinction, the entry of new imported vehicles into their internal market.

Many countries had large customs barriers, created through high import taxes, preventing the sale of various types of foreign products in their domestic market.

In this way, almost always domestic products had a more attractive price, attracting local consumers and keeping them away from other external products.

This policy of protectionism was also used as a monetary barrier, avoiding the avoidance of internal capital to other countries.

Many countries were considered radical because they banned virtually all foreign products from their country. By creating various norms, laws and fees, they gradually increased the final price of foreign products and made domestic products cheaper.

But at a certain point, with the globalization and internationalization of many companies, these barriers created by protectionism began to lose strength and today hardly exist. The development of international technology and trade has driven the economies of several European countries. Many countries have gone on to expand their industrial courtyard, have created ultra modern factories of cars and various types of vehicles, such as motorbikes, trailers and motorhomes, vans and SUVs, seeking to overcome the slow economic development of the past and expanding its trade for the internationalization of their products.

Now, the import of vehicles has gained strength in recent years and there is a growing demand for more modern and more economical vehicles, stimulating the processes of legalisation and registration of vehicles in various countries of Europe.

Many European countries have their patio of obsolete vehicles, with very polluting vehicles, requiring newer vehicles that meet the real need of their population. Other countries have changed their internal economic policy, disfavoring national companies, making their vehicles very expensive, now being a much more viable alternative, importing vehicles. On the other hand, there are many countries with high supply and a very large variety of new vehicles in their market, with less than 10 years of use, less polluting and with many options. These imported vehicles can be up to 30% cheaper and efecientes than a similar vehicle produced in your country.

In any case, the process of importing, legalising and registering may be a bit tricky, but it is still very advantageous and beneficial to the consumer.

The final value of the imported vehicle may have a cost of about 20% less than the vehicle purchased directly from the domestic market. This is a value to consider.
